As usual I dug until my back and neck hurt yesterday. I'll start off with the one I know nothing about. It's a round bottom wine (Tipo Chianti - Italian - Suisse Colony - California) with etched label. A real nice pale green. The era of the dump I found it in is mostly early 1900-1910. So my guess is that's the age. I am curious about the process of producing these. Has a blown look but no scar or evidence of seams. I'm sure you guys could provide the answer there. The bottle is black as night. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1467303766.364182.jpg .bottom is embossed ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1467303788.399151.jpg . ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1467303800.982803.jpg . Also dug this Bomosauras Rex ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1467303855.476175.jpg . ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1467303900.791730.jpg I didn't dig this one. Somebody left it behind. One mans reject is another mans keeper I suppose. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1467303959.117848.jpg this is a H.K. Mullford co. Bottle from Philidelphia.. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1467304033.947509.jpg another lovely shaped meat juice. Shaped like a drop of meat juice. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1467304082.252245.jpg clear med shaped larkins soap bottle. Eh...never seen it so I took it. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1467304130.444795.jpg colgates perfume with stopper. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1467304165.923195.jpg common lid but I like them. Easy to bring home. I guess that's about it. I'm running out of room for all this stuff.

Wow, man. Nice.

That round bottom is stellar, wow, what a nice shape and colour. I'd guess that it was free blown but then again it looks like it's got some whittling, so maybe there must have been some contact with perhaps a paddle, or maybe more likely a shallow bowl kind of mould that doesn't open and close? I'm not sure. And get outta here, that black bottle is BLACK - I always wondered if there was "black glass" that was this black, and here we have it. I'm curious to see it held up to the light. Any colour at all?

Everything else is great too, can't wait to see what else you dig up!

The chianti is blown in a turn mold, they would spin the bottle while the glass was still "plastic" to eliminate the seams, probably right around 1900....

Thanks epackage. Makes sense to me. It has "rings" that go out from the center and that was probably from spinning in the mold. I wonder if someone could put a value on it?

^^^ Oh okay I can totally see that now, epackage, a turn mould but with a curved bottom rather than a flat bottom, that makes a lot more sense.

Yet another great dig and post by the golden child. What great finds! Finding a chianti whole is fantastic by itself. What a great piece with the etching. This one is display ready. Love that perfume that came with the stopper. I am glad to see you brought home the lid. I love to see the logos they came up with. Good stuff you got there, and 2 cobalts as an added bonus
