Saturday's river dig.

Today I ended up digging at my river spot for about an hour .I didn't find much but I found a nice rumfords chemical bottle and an interesting borduex wine bottle . But the coolest find is the glass eye. Thanks for looking . - Justin

Love that Rumford bottle. I found one just like it back in 1980. Have kept it all these years. Nice shape, nice color...except I dinged the lip on mine due to my novice digging skills.

All very collectible bottles you've got there. It seems like the teal Rumford is one of those staples in any collection, up there with the Warner's Safe Cure. Lots of people collect veterinary bottles for sure. And then you've got a glass eye, plenty of people into the weird stuff. I imagine that glass eye gave you a good jump when it stared up at you!

I dug a blue eye just like that this year. Nice dig. just dropped it on the floor and it broke! Lol. So...FYI it's hollow!

That bottle is beautiful! The eye is neat, but I think it would freak me a little now and then. Would probably feel like I'm being watched all the time.

Woah that sucks that it broke but the blue iris is Beautiful. I wonder what the dolls looked like for these.

That's a great rumfords. Just like villagenut I kept a dinged lip one for decades. Love the veterinary bottle.
