Saturday was a wonderful day. After having lunch with my son and husband, I jokingly asked if he would like to go metal detecting with me.
He's 18 so I figured he had other stuff to do. He said, ok sounds fun, so off we went into the woods.

These woods are right behind our house. I was looking for an old family dumping site when I spotted the little bottle on the right in the pic, just laying on the surface. My metal detector was also going nuts, but my son wanted to head to the creek. I was not about you complain, I was thrilled to be in the woods with my boy.

Anyway, he ended up finding the little milk glass jar and I found the 2nd little bottle. It was fun to spend that time with him, and I will defiantly go back out soon.

Just curious, anyway to date those milk glass jars? I have a large one that has no markings or designs on it at all.

That I am not sure about. I only know what I can read online. Maybe a milk glass expert will chime in here.

Yes spending time with my son was more fun than finding stuff. I'm waiting for him to say "hey mom, want to go into the woods again? ".
Thanks for all the comments!
