Yet another Paterson NJ 1/2 gallon acquired today...

Drove down to Batsto Village in South Jersey for the spring bottle show and picked up an earlier 1/2 gallon than the three Fulper Pottery jugs I shared the other day. I believe this jug was made by a Newark NJ potter and it pre-dates the Fulper jugs by 10-15 years, it is from the 1880's...

It is the only known example of a Paterson jug where Broadway is abbreviated, and there is no N.J. after Paterson, as well as no first name or initial for Seth B. Spanton who was the liquor dealer it was from.
