Is this an ink bottle, or what?

I have been offered this bottle in trade, but I don't know what it is. Is it an ink bottle or something else?

I am still waiting for dimensions and other info, Don. All I have at this point is this image. The piece is distinctive enough that I hoped someone would recognize it.

I believe what you have there is an early Prince Matchabelli perfume bottle minus the glass stopper.

Or perhaps it is a "Vintage Green Glass Bottle Decanter Crown Stopper Victrylite Oshkosh-WIS, ITALY", seems like a better fit to me.

Thanks for the comments and research! Apparently, these bottles are "vintage" as opposed to antique, and I have declined the trade.
