John Arto Jr. was born in November 1854 and died July 8, 1910 in San Angelo Texas, he lived at 756 Avenue J in Galveston according to the 1880 census and was a soda and mineral water bottler. By 1900 he is widowed and living in Port Arthur Texas working as a cook, here are his two documented hutchinson bottles. 1894 is the last year he is listed as a soda bottler in the Houston directories...

Applied top pony from the sodasandbeeers.com website, there is also a round bottom bottle from him for Belfast Ginger Ale, no pic available. Your bottle may be an "only known" variant at this time...

Thank you so much Jim! Would you happen to know where the bottling company was located? I have looked and looked plus I went through the Sanborn maps of Houston from the beginning and I didn't see Houston Bottling Works.
