Hello treasure net! I am new to the forum and relatively new to metal detecting. I've owned a radio shack discovery 1000 but with my fast growing interest in metal detecting I've decided I would like to purchase another metal detector. My price range is $300. I've been looking at the garret ace 250 and think it would fit my needs. I plan on detecting in fields on my property and farm land around my area with the permission of the owners. I'm looking to find old coins, relics, lost jewelry and really anything, just the hunt for old objects is half the thrill and finding them is the icing on the cake. So I was wondering if the ace 250 is a good choice? Also if anyone has opinions on other detectors that would be comparable if not better let me know! Thank you for your time.
