nice to find one with an identifiable backmark.can,t really comment on button ,but would you show a picture of the palmolive token?heres one found in goodrich,kansas about 40 miles from a polmolive plant 4 years ago.wondering about how these were distributed.

Just wanted to let you know that I have found about a dozen coin buttons with that exact back mark here in Manitoba (Canada). Usually find them at early 19th century sites.

Wow really? Have any more info on them? Pretty common then? So they had civilian use too..that's prolly what I have too then ..
