Found this one in Fredricksburg, Va. a Long Long time ago. Been lying around. Can you give me any pertinent info on it other than its a VA button. Mark on the back is M.C. Lilley & co. Columbus, Ohio. Any value in it's present dug condition? Thanks to all in advance. Finderzzs

I'm certainly not an expert but I have never seen that particular button nor it's backmark. My guess if post CW. JMHO.

What you have is a Confederate Virginia State Seal button.
