need some advice

my sister has a home that has a jewelery cache in it. We are trying to figure out what the attorney
for the previous owner meant by telling her it could be retrieved by "walk in and retrieve".

as an aside, could anyone shed some light on where a woman would normally cache jewelery in a home and
what to possibly look for.
