Jesse james KGC AND there hiding places

Dwight, im interested in reading your posts. I'm pretty ignorant as far as the history of the South goes. I grew up on the west coast. I don't really like to ask dumb questions but, ive got one anyways. What does KGC stand for? Robert
Is that a jewel encrusted bottle cap?

Jesse james KGC AND there hiding places

Well i just answered my own dumb question. Knights of the Golden Circle. According to Floyd Mann there's some property in Oklahoma for sale on E-bay that may contain some of their treasures.
Is that a jewel encrusted bottle cap?

Just like many others I would enjoy what you have on the KGC.
What little bit I have ran across on the net has been very interesting.
So if you want to take the time I will listen (read) to what ever you have.

Re: Jesse james KGC AND there hiding places

Greetings to all from maine. The knights of the golden circle were a group of men who supposely hid a lot of money from one location to another, in a lot of differant states and canada. This money was to be used at a later date if the south were to rise up aganst the north again. After the civil war. The KGC has no known connection to the masons that I know of. The golden circle mine i know of in maine has been checked many times for treasure. ALL searches have been an empty journey with the searcher leaving the area sadder but wiser.I usually follow up on what i beleive is a good solid lead to a treasure This story of the KGC is not what i call a solid lead. I am not in any way calling MR MANN a lier or rumor mill starter, We all beleive what we wish .H H TO ALL

Re: Jesse james KGC AND there hiding places

Hi, lastleg if I'm not mistaken Mr. Traina passed on a year or two ago. His daughter is still around and could possibly add some information if she chooses to do so. I know she did release some information relating to the KGC after his passing. As far as the KGC/Masonic connection interested parties should begin their research with Albert Pike.

The K.G.C. grew out the Masons. Everyone should read "Shadow of the Sentinel" by Warren Getler and Bob Brewer It is one of the best Histories of The K.G.C. that I have read.
Just because it did not work does not mean it was not a good plan!

Bob Brewer claims it is all fact. He even mentions TreasureNet in his book. Is he still a member here?
