Cache Hunters... Do not pass up those Tin Signals

many of you know I have been pouring over Thousands of Articles
on Buried Money.

One thing comes up very often

"Tin Can"

No Tin doesn't last forever & in most cases may be just Remnants today.
But those Bits of Tin can scare many of Detectorist into Passing
them up.

Hence the Reason allot of Cache Stories get passed off as
not believable.

I'm sure a few of us are Guilty of swinging over a Tin Can of Gold Or silver Coins, And not even thinking once about Digging That Sound.

in the old days they were found because people got lucky using their Eyes. and energy digging holes.
Today because we have these amazing machines, we are Spoiled into thinking
More Discrimination means more Treasures.
and that Trashy Speckled sound or Null isn't worth Digging .
WRONG !

Dig those Tin Signals & trashy spread out nulls
The next one may just be your Pot of Gold

if not for taking a Chance on a Crappy Signal From This steel Wrench & rotted Tobacco Tin,
This cache may Still be in the ground.


My previous Hunt on the site only got me a Half.

My second Hunt , I had more energy & went after the Broken trash hit. finding the other $1.27 cents.

I'm not a coin Hunter ,I hunt Indian artifacts,but I can uphold this....many many times ,when I dug Everything with the detector ,I found awesome brass points n beads etc under all iron mode ...if I discriminated to just brass I could miss good stuff,...so YES honestly dig EVERYTHING,...you never know

Jeff, when I dug my Cashe, it was in a glass fluff jar with a tin screw cap, in the jar was 1500 bucks, 50's and 100's

Caretaker,...funny you say that I once found a white milk glass jar with a tin screw top on an old 1800 pioneer site,...of course no loot,it was gone ,jar filled with dirt....darn it!...

I dig deep iron too, about 2 feet down, I dug a Mason Jar, didn't open it til I got home, someone's parakeet was in a plastic bag with a note , I put it back together and reburied it the next day

that is a good tip. I have not found anything like that. But I am still searching!
