I just saw this on Craig's List and thought I would pass it along in case someone wants to try and find it:

We lost a wedding ring inner tubing down the river in Cloverdale and are heartbroken and willing to pay a $3000 reward to anyone who can find it for us. We know exactly where it fell off too. From Cloverdale, take the Crocker Road Bridge across the river, then turn left on River Lane. It fell off just upstream from the Berti Winery/Berti Winery Road No. 1 on a map. It was in some very small rapids and right after that, the river is very calm. The water is pretty clear too. With some goggles, maybe an underwater flashlight to reflect the silver metal? A metal detector? We are desparate to find it and hoping for a miracle. Could be a fun treasure hunt for someone with some time who wants to go on an adventure? It is large and platinum and has an inscription in the inside.

Sounds fishy. They're giving too much info about it's location. :icon_scratch:

$3,000 reward :icon_scratch: the ring has to be worth $10,000 or way more for that amount of reward. But, who in their right mind goes shooting the rapids with a very expensive ring on :dontknow:

Thank God that they do, if people didn't loose things we would have nothing to find. I love sitting on the beach just looking at all the future finds that the morons are wearing.
