I spent many hours metal detecting and taking my trash out of this area near Fresno/Hanford to make a better and cleaner so others can enjoy the river as the water begins to flow again. Just take a look.

It's amazing how many people do not care about our planet. I believe every Young Boy and Girl should get Military Training. Maybe then they will respect.

I've noticed that there seem to be more litter bugs in our state than any other state I've been to. I mean, I have literally picked up an entire truck load of recyclables in a single location that had been thrown out. I found over $300 worth of CRV items once at one place I was detecting. I started seeing piles of cans and bottles scattered all over so I just went to the truck and grabbed some bags and started picking it up.

I still go back to that same spot every weekend always find something new. Just this last weekend I found a gold ring silver dime and a mecury dime so it still has some good finds out there.

People who visit the river are not the only ones trashing the place some hunters are leaving all bottle caps. Pulltabs and loads of rusty iron along the river bank and the pit holes under the bridge with all the rusted iron is laying right next to the hole. You know who you are. I hope your buddies don't do the same.

My friends and I were taking the time to clean-up a pile of trash by a river we fish when a couple of canoes show-up and one of the idiots proceeds to bring his trash over and drop it right where we just cleaned out the huge pile. I said, take that with you! He didn't respond and just walked away. If I knew where he had parked his car, his trash would have been epoxied to his windshield!
