Mining in the Chocolates....

Hey all Southern Cal people,
I was looking for anyone who may have trekked out on the Chocolate Mts, Pichacho, or any of the mountain ranges E of Imperial, El Centro etc. If you have please drop a line.Thankx

FYI, Their were several mines that operated in the 1900"s mostly produceing silver, about 5 miles North of Glamis. A tip would be to follow the dry washes up to the mountains,not that you don't already know this though. It is possible you might spot some unusal outcroppings {silver or gold/mixed }if the winds uncovered them.
