The Craddock & Co. backmark dates from the late 1800's. Hubert M. Craddock was listed as a clothier at 195 James St., Kansas City, MO in 1889-90.

The button was probably actually made by the Waterbury Button Co., whose back die lists from that period include one for "Craddock, Kansas City."
