So, I'm brand new on these forums and I need a little help. I have recently joined my parents in their collecting of Civil War artifacts and memorabilia mainly to bond with my pop. Well they've had what I believe to be a civil war ambrotype for more than a few years now and what to find out more about it's value, origin, and so forth. We are possibly considering selling it. Anyhow, we are wondering if anyone one on here can give us more info or knows of a place in Arizona, particularity Phoenix, Chandler, Tempe, etc. that can help us with the item in terms of value and what steps we would take to maybe put it up at auction.
