Coney Island, Brooklyn NY!!! But it is really does not mean anything, found much more different items (age, origin ETC)!!! Old item can be next to a newer one on the beach!!! Thanks for you answer!!!! Mummytrol!! Maybe you have any info about Coney Island during the Civil War??????

Great find. Ebay has a page on constable badges that are similar shapes, but there are so many. What metal type is yours?
