The last 2 pictures next to the Enfield are a fired Minnie /Enfield? in Wood but it seems the wood is like "Particle Board" ???

Also The 2 Dropped Enfields were within feet of each other & the Script I . With fired bullets all around the area.

As I stated 'much' of these relics are post war but they tell the Story of the Site that not much is written about.
Wish I had hit it 25-30 years ago.

That's a very odd bullet in photos #8 & 9. It looks like a rare CS .36 Leech-&-Rigdon, but sitting on the US penny it seems to be significantly larger than .36-caliber. If possible, please put a digital caliper onto it for precise diameter measurement. Thanks.

It appears to have a solid base. One side of the flat base looks a little odd in photo #8. Any chance it is a cut-off (carved) bullet?

Good eye TCBG.

When I dug it , I immediately thought "Big tear drop" .

I was thinking it was # 38 c in AHB of CWB&C, but looking closer the bottom does not taper as much ??

My caliper is 'Dial' & not digital & when I measured it ' Think it came in around . 40 or 41 ,ill check again real quick....................Glad I rechecked as it comes in at .45 -.46 & .68 tall. It's completely round in it's circumference & i'm 99% sure it was not cut.

Forgive my 'typing ' I just typed you a long detailed reply that got erased (30 min worth , but I type slow) oh well probably better for you. lol

Also wanted to add that the .41 Derringer cartridge has ,no head-stamp on it's bottom.
I had pictured 3 more .41 derringer cases that I found in the area , one has a distinctive 'U' , one has a small 'H' & the other is plain like the Cartridge.

The 'Chewed by something' bullet I posted has a Faint ring near the nose , kinda like the .52 Dropped Enfield you helped ID, in my Aug, post. It seems to be of a smaller caliber as well.

I again thank you for your time & help as these 'August' bullets did not get a second look at my Club meeting , most of these guy's are Veteran diggers & have dug almost 1 or 3 of everything to be had . So I appreciate your interest.

Have a wonderful eve & day Tomorrow.
Davers/ Davey
