These two ,58cal. bullets do not have conventional star in base. I can not find any in the books I have. I have included a drawing of cavity, is this just a different variation of star? Closest one I can find is rimless wheel, but not enough spokes. Any ideas? By the way back in the 80's and 90's we referred to star based bullets as Frankfort Arsenal, are they the same Arsenals?

Must be the angle of the pic then. All the ones I have dug have a very pronounced star in the base, maybe on this one the star doesn't have much relief?

I have never seen any others kike them only these two. I have dug a few conventional star base [30 0r 40] bullets but these are the only two like that. Have you ever heard it reffered to as Frankfort Arsenal?

Are the spokes depressed or raised? If depressed my guess would be machine turned.

They are raised but it is still machine turned.
