Great looking relic and piece of History. My great-great Grandfather, Pvt. William E. Jenkins 44TH Georgia Volunteer Infantry Co. D would receive his first wound there being shot through the shoulder.

Was hunting on private land [at the time] near the Bloody Lane, it was one of those days when the ground was hard as a rock and you see the result.

I tried to leave a .54 MS bullet in a dirt clod but it fell apart. Yours is what I wanted mine to look like, that is sweeeetttt..d2

It's not that Bad , I thought the patina came off from years of Display/ handling .

I love pieces like that , I got 1 a year ago the tip of a 52 Sharps ( I think ) pointing of of a Clod. Found near a Battle Site
& 2 others both 58 3 ringers , 1 found 15 years ago at a construction site ( found Half Mile from Kennessaw MT ) the other found 4 years ago at a construction site bout 30 + yards for the Mountains Park property line , a BIG house now sits there.

All 3 are in GA Red Clay. & amoung my favorite finds .
