Need Help on Cleaning Old Glass Bottles

Hello! I'm pretty new to TN and I found a stash of old glass in my woods. Some of it was still intact, some was not. It consisted of a variety of jars and bottles. It was easy cleaning the jars, I just rinsed off the dirt and threw it into a dish washer. However, the bottles are a little bit more tricky. The dish washer only cleaned the outside and I was wondering how I can clean the inside with normal household supplies to remove that hardened dirt, scum, and moss/mold.

It would take a lot of work, but I've always been told to put dried rice inside of the bottle and shake until clean.

Get your hands on some of the chain they use for dog tags and put some soapy water in the bottles. The shake it up with the chain in it. It works pretty great.
