My best answer would be to try electrolysis. For such a small target, it would be a VERY small setup. Still, I'd recommend doing it in an area with plenty of ventilation.

You can do a Tnet search for rifle electrolysis, and somewhere in the thread are several links to some very good instructional sources for learning about electrolysis.

If you could KNOW what material it is holding the clump together, you could risk using an acid, so long as you're certain it would have no effect on the coins.
