    If the decrepid pennies you're talking about are zinc pennies then I wouldn't bother. If we're talking about decrepid copper pennies, then a rock tumbler with a little aquarium gravel tossed in with water will do the trick. Do not do this with possible key date pennies.

    Don't use coin cleaning dip on any coins that have copper. They'll turn a light pink color.

    Unless, of course, you want pink coins. :P
