Don't you just love nickels? Today I went to an entirely different bank in my small town, they obviously got the next box the machine did and it was saturated with buffalos. 14 in one roll, 47 all together. There are very few with dates, all of them common, but hopefully me and my bottle of nic-a-date can fix that. First thing i'm gonna do as soon as i get out of school is go back to the bank and beg for more nickels.

Holy Moly!! Congrats...that is one heck of a haul. Curious about the nic-a-date.....does it leave a stain of any kind?

YES LJ...it is very caustic and leaves a burn where it is applied...Nicky has some before and after pics of when he used it...it's great for identifying no date coins which were worthless anyway...i'll see if i can locate the post for you

Hello,
Very impressive find. I have searched about $1,000 in nickels since CRH a year ago and NEVER found an Indian Head.

Also very impressed with the nic-a-date I have never seen that before.

Keep up the good work

Happy Hunting,
Jason

Score!!

Except they look more like 1 little, 2 little, 47 little buffalos.
I was expecting pennies.
