Coin ordering from banks

Can banks actually order coins for you? Not being silly here but I have been reading posts on coin rolling and people say their banks order them rolls of halves, etc.

If they order them chances are they will be complete boxes (or bags where available). You should read the top topic on this page. It will give you most of what you need to know.

If you get started be prepared to get hooked and quick. Say goodbye to your wife...your kids and your job! Ok maybe it is not that bad but you will get hooked and spend an awful lot of time doing this hobbie. Just don't get the silver coin dust in your eyes or mouth that is when you will completely lose your mind as I saw somebody write one time.

Hey Ron, just go to the bank you do your banking with & ask them if they can order them for you, most banks don't have any problems doing it, but you should also look for places where you can dump the coins that you search. I usually dump mine at casinos, cuz I'm always on the move across the country & only have a bank account in WI.

Of course they can order for you! All you need to do is ask. If you get turned down, oh well. Just move to the next bank and ask but don't be too pesky about it or you might make some enemies at your banks. Just remember, we're ALL in this together and we need not p#$@ anyone off or this hobby might get harder for us.

hey crazy jarhead i have been at this about 6 months now, and i constantly think of how when and where i will hunt and find next i also am always trying to find a new angle, wish i had a teller on the inside that would look out for me, but the ones i talk to are hunting for themselves. good luck
