Today's Penny Box

Opened a penny box today and immediately noticed a pattern. After about 10 rolls, I had found nothing prior to 1982 except for one lonely 1976 copper. Nothing even close to a wheat. Seached an additional 6 rolls at ramdom through the box and experienced the same trend. Must have been someone's dumps, even through it was a sealed Brinks box. Closed it back up and will dump tomorrow. Have any of you ever experienced a similar situation with pennies? HH

No, I haven't experienced a similar situation but I understand how it happens and that it can happen. My best advice is to pick up another box of pennies and keep on truckin'. Or you could just give up on CRH altogether so that would leave more Wheats and stuff for the rest of us. :tard: :tard: :tard:

Yeah just the other day actually and almost ALL of the pennies were 1982-D (98 or 99%) and that was a $50 bag....
