Hello everyone,
Well the kids had a snowday today so there was no school so I went to the bank to get a bunch of boxes. I ended up getting 4 boxes of pennies, 1 box of nickels, 1 box of dimes, and 1 box of halves, and $5.50 in loose halves. The penny boxes were some of the best I have ever seen. The results are as follows.
Box 1 of pennies(my girls did this box) = 68 wheats 4 being pre 1940
Box 2,3,4 of pennies = 174 wheats 10 being pre 1940
I did a survey of dates cause I was wondering the date break down. Here are the dates (1913, 1924, 1925, 1935, 1936 [x2],1937, 1938 [x2], 1939, 1940 [x6], 1941 [x11], 1941D, 1942 [x4], 1944 [x18], 1945 [x13], 1945D, 1946D, 1946 [x6], 1947 [x2], 1948 [x5], 1948D, 1949S, 1949 [x8], 1950 [x3], 1951 [x6], 1951D [x6], 1951S, 1952D [x10], 1952 [x5], 1953 [ x2], 1953D [x6], 1954D, 1955D, 1955 [x6], 1956 [x11], 1956D [x6], 1957 [x5], 1957D [x4], 1958 [x4], 1958D [x9]
Box of nickels = 2 silver war nickels (1943P & 1945S)
39 pre 1960's
Box of dimes = 1 silver Canadian 1962
Box of Halves = SKUNK up to 51 straight skunk boxes
$5.50 Loose halves = 1 1967 40% silver
