At lunch time today I was cashing in some of my rejects and decided to stop by a couple banks in the area to see if I would have any luck....I know there is at least one other CRHer in the area as I have been told about him/her a few times in the past so I usually don't check these banks often as I have had very little luck and I wasn't expecting much today either.
Ended up stopping at 4 other banks and 3 of them had $0, $2.50 and $3 worth....all skunk.
but the other one had $420.50 off the coin machine. I could hear the silver in the bag as they were about to dump it out in the back and count it.... I said I would just take it as is...if its off a coin or two its not a problem.
Well the two young tellers had no clue about silver so that really wasn't a concern, but I just hate waiting for them to count..that and I didn't have time to wait (had a meeting to get back to the office for)
The bag turned out to be pretty good.
6 - 90% Kennedy (1964(3), 1964-D(3))
64 - 40% Kennedy (1965(5), 1966(11), 1967(20), 1968-D(22), 1969-D(6))
1 - 1987-P
1 - 2003-D (last coin I looked at in the bag)
3 Foreign (Mexico, 20 Centavos (1967), Mexico, 1 Peso (1970), Mexico, 10 Pesos (1999))

so ended up with a surprise 70 silver day when I was expecting nothing.
