regular pound or troy pound?

If you're going for a troy pound (12 oz) you need 166 silver dimes...which you may have gotten last year... Am I seeing this right?? ???

I go for the full 16 ounces. And it's not only dimes. I also count in war nickels, 90% quarters & halves. The 40% halves get set aside and I sell them to a local dealer when I get $100 in face value. Over the past few years, I've sold $400 in 40% halves and got over $1300 in cash.
