I started out yesterday afternoon to swing the coil a little bit even though the high here in Florida was only about 50 degrees. Brrrrrrrrr.........cold !!
On the way to my target, I decided to stop in at a few banks along the way and look for halfs. Only found a few loose ones and one complete roll. None of these produced any silver, the complete roll was all 1971's.
Anyway at the last bank I hit, the tellers said they only had a couple of loose halfs and another teller said, I've got a silver dime, you want it. I figured she was wanting to sell it, so I said, yes maam, how much you want for it. She replied, just a dime, I'm not allowed to make a profit. I like this teller !
Normally, i either find them or buy em off fee-bay, when the price is right, but this time I got one at face value.
BTW, I didn't find any silver MD'ing yesterday but found enough coins to pay for the trip gas. All in all, I've had worst days.
