Went to the bank on 2 - 21 to pick up some halves and the teller said she had three rolls of wheats for me so i took the three rolls. Well she lied to me 3 of them were not wheats. They range from 1910 on up. Now i really dont do pennies so other than the 1909 svbd are any worth more then a cent or two? Sorry i cant post pics i am using the net from my phone. THANKS FOR THE HELP IN ADVANCE

Don't be mad at your teller, you should be glad she's trying to lookout for you. Just my 2cents.

Im not mad at the teller at all. This bank is always busy and they know i collect coins and even save the silver coins their machine rejects for me. Like everyone says a few goodies to the tellers always goes along way.

Lots of wheats are worth more then a couple cents. If you post the dates and mintmarks of the ones you found I'm sure the people here could tell you if any of them are worth more then the norm.

I think he was being sarcastic. Tongue in cheek is hard to pull off on a forum or e-mail. Just my 2 cents.

They are so rare that no one has ever seen one. Going from memory here but I think that the San Francisco mint quit making circulation coins in 1956 and stayed shut down for a few years and then didn't reopen until the late 1960s and then switched over to proof sets only in 1976..... i think that's right but may have missed a year or two on what they did and when they did it. ss

Nice swath of wheats you pulled. No major key dates here but if these are in decent condition then they are worth a few bucks . I've had a teller hand me full rolls of wheats once. Wasn't as lucky as you with the variety you got. Congrats.
