first time coin roll hunting, i had to stop at 4 different banks, but i made it home with 250$ in halfs, i got 2 90% , 1 40% and a 2004 proof. thanks for all the info on here to get me started, now i have something to hunt when its raining to hard to go metal detecting.

my problem is I started this 'cause the ground was frozen...now the ace 250 is still dusty

i wouldn't say virgin territory!! to day i did the same thing and 3 of the banks (all different banks) i stopped at said that someone had took all they had thismorning!! so i asked if the had any big dollars and one teller said the same guy got 17 of them(dang shoulda woke up early) , i did get 2 at another bank. 1 1972 and one 1977. also got a 2002 proof half today.
wow, my second day into it and silver both days!!
i think i have a good advantage when hunting because my job sends me in a 100 mile radius, so if i have time to stop and ask i will.
and as far as frozen ground... we not too much of a problem up here in western washington. just the rain keeps me from detecting..
