today's 2 penny boxes

picked up 2 boxes 1 each from a different bank. Box 1 was a brinks box in the clear wrappers 38 of the rolls were solid 2009 P Formative years lincolns with the other 12 rolls with the 2009's with 1 or 2 other dates in this. Speculation on how this happened?

Box number 2 had 11 wheat (1 no date, 1919S,1926D,1944,1944D,1944S,1946, 1957D,1958, 1958D(2)) and 3 Canadians.

No Halves to be had in our town of 13 banks. i haven't inquired about buying boxes yet.

Brinks has machines that dump all coins of one denomination into a large hopper. Your rolls were probably from the beginning or ending of a run. Or maybe a few coins hung up somewhere in the system got mixed in. You at least can see through the sides of your rolls to check. I was thinking about all the rolls that have been sold on feebay for outrageous prices being sold in paper machine rolls by the box. Of course you can see that the two coins on the either end are new Lincoln's, but how would you know that all 48 cents in the middle are new as well without ripping into them all?
