Got 2 of them Bicentennial "S"'s one is a Proof is it %40 too?

Also got 20 Proofs besides all have Copper looking rims but 2 (2001 & 2004) which are entirely Silver rimmed, could they be Silver too? Yeup can't wait for next week gonna order 6 for Tuesday, and 2 more from my Loomis Bank on Thursday, have had 4 SKUNKS in row there maybe will break that streak too.

The wife got one Box today too, in Mo. it was a Skunk.

The 2001 and 2004 proofs that aren't clad are 90% silver. The bicent proofs come in silver and clad. The silver is 40%. Also, San Fran released a business strike bicent in 40% silver.

Congrats!

I love search proofs even though there is no market; It is just fun! The modern silver proofs (92-present) have a wide white rim, so distinctive to give you a rush when you see them.

Still looking for 95s, 07s, and 73s to fill my album.

your 4 boxes were alot better than mine was today. i only got 1 1965. congrats

Yeup, it comes in spurts, as said my last 3 weeks 4 Boxes each were all skunks, even had 4 Lommis skunks in between from another bank that get occasional 2 Boxes from- This is the first Silver have had in TN in over a month.

On my trip back from Mo last week got alota hand rolls but only found 2 %40's.

I now have proofs from 68-2008 ain't missin many years in bettween (though have not checked specifically), though only 2 are %90 Silver, so far have even tried Ebay no takers on my now over 100 Clad Proofs.

Now I have found a 70s, my wife found hers couple weeks ago, both are proofs, even got an 69 & 68 proof today.

Knew forgot something, the first box I opened, staring back at me was a distinctive marked coin I had marked 4 months ago- I grabbed it first and found a 68 in the roll!

Not long after making that dump run to Nashville- stopped marking coins as developed a system of dumping my dumps in Missouri where they will not come back into my supply chain. :sign13: :laughing7:

Proofs are fun. I prefer an impaired proof clad halve than a NIFC in the original mint roll

thank God obediah.....you've seen the light :headbang: :hello2:

When I started was just curious if one could get same coins back; this makes second time have gotten some of them back marked- though only 1 was in the 4 Boxes did yesterday2 weeks ago got 6 of my own marked back which proves the supply chain is very shallow apart from what I suspect is new coins being dumped into system I suppose.

That's is some decent numbers you pulled. I like finding those silver bicentennials. It's a little change in pace to the norm.

Keep up the hunt....your next one could be a MountainMan box......we all dream don't we.....lol.

Won't start another thread for this, but wife in Missouri finished her 2 Boxes this morning, one was a SKUNK the other thee 1st roll she opened had a 1940 Liberty in it but the box did not do too well she only found 3 more 61,64, and a 67 ;which brings her just over an ounce of Silver this week, so adding my 4 Boxes with her two this week we found right at 7 ounces of Silver, though in mine got 5 firsts for me, all proofs 68,69,70, and 2 %90 proofs 2001 & 04

Next week we are doing each same number of Boxes.
