I was looking more closely at this clean dime and noticed something I wanted to ask about. the back has this double rim at one end. what kind of minting error is this defined as?
Is it worth anything?
I've seen this before on other coins too. Just don't know what to call it.
Thanks

I have seen those too. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it might be a (slightly) misaligned die error.
You are correct, slightly misaligned. I found a nickel last week, that was normal on the back but misaligned on the obverse by quite a bit, started cutting into the letters on the opposite side.
