Today I decided to go out and hunt for some silver (first time in about a week and a half). First few places I went, no 50 cent pieces, not even loose ones in the change rack. Finally I decided that the area I was in was empty of coins. Used my gps to located about 6 miles away from where I was and found 50 dollars worth of halves. I talked to the teller who was going to get them out of the vault for me, she said, "so are you looking for old coins, silver perhaps?" I said yes I am, she replied with you wont find any old coins in these rolls. I simply replied.......we'll see about that. Sure enough 2 64's and 7 other silver halves.

After that nice find, I decided to go back to the town were i found 6 rolls of silver coins before.

Sure enough, to make a long story short. I found 158 40% halves, an almost uncirculated roll of 1971d. -2-1987p. An xxvi olympiad coin (baseball) and a 2002s. I also found a 1938 nickel in my buddies cup holder in his car.

Pretty good day for only looking through 500 dollars in coins.

I have a picture of my findings just to prove im not making stuff up, but it wont load my message with the picture.
(anyone know how to get by this error?)

Ill update my totals after my next trip out.

thats an awesome score for $500. nice variety also. i just did the same thing last week. out of $500 in loosies and handrolls i got only 1-1966, 6-2008p, and 4-2008d. however i was handed a silver roosie dime from the teller who was changing bags on the machine. he pulled it out of the back of the reject shoot and handed it to me and said "here the machine isn't going to accept this one" ;D
