Premium for Solid Rolls of BU '95s & '96s? (Updated: Pics)

I just opened a box of halves and about 3/4 of them are solid rolls of BU '95s & '96s. Is there a premium for these or should I throw them back?

Update: Also had 1 - 64, 12 - 40%s and 1 NIFC.

Thanks,
JB.

At most a couple dollars for the whole roll. Not worth it with the papal fees. I'd keep one roll of each and dump the rest.

Yeah, last year I got a couple bags of them straight from the mint. They must still have a bunch of them put back. Kinda cool to see, but I didn't keep many. Just cherry picked a few good ones. I didn't think it would be worth it messin' with feebay.

Is ordering them right from the mint the same as brinks and other places that they are ordered from??

If not, how do you order them straight from the mint??

Not really sure. One of my banks ordered them, and I am assuming Brinks delivered them. But they were mint sewn bags with fresh coins in them. Here is a pic of one of the tags off the bag. Weird because the to and from are backward on the tag.

ic ic, if i were you id check what they are going for on ebay, if you arent in a huge struggle for cash right now, hold them for a while and see how the value rises in them, soon you wont be able to find a ton of uncirculated coins like these.

Its up to you.

Thats very interesting about the bag you ordered.....

is this the first bag you have recieved, or do you always recieve bags from this bank??

Any silver in this bag or just 95's and 96's???

I think you are confusing JasonB and I. (sorry for hijacking your post Jason) I found mind last year. I got three of these in a row (2 95 and 1 97), and then I got bored with them. I error searched a bunch, but didn't find anything. I hoped to find a bag full of cool errors in crisp BU. Or maybe dig into an old bag of 64's crisp in the bag. :laughing9: Then I asked her to ask them to switch to circulated coin and they switched to the plastic bags off of machines.

Round here there has been tens of thousands of these. My theory is that Brinks runs out of halves and breaks open stored coinage. Almost all of the coincounter coinage ends up with another armoured service.

Hey funny thing, I opened them all in mixed in were 12 40%'s and 1 90%. Glad I didn't assume they were all BUs.

That's a good box for me.

I had a similar box with the 95s. I also opened them all and scored about five silvers. I was surprised. I've had this happen with a box of obvious casino coins. Every roll will be solid flat copper colored then stuck in the middle of a roll will be a nice silver coin. Makes you wonder what was happening at the coin hopper when it was rolling. Probably a small bag was dumped in between the casino junk.
