Today's pocket change...Oh Canada
Just a reminder to folks that Canadian quarters contain silver until 1968. I got a 1964 & 1967 in change today. The 53-67's are .800 silver and the 67-68's are .500 silver(notice the date overlap) these are the ones with the Caribou on the reverse...definitely worth being on the lookout for them especially here in Michigan or any other border state.

When I lived in Michigan, you could ask for Canadian rolls at the bank. Maybe you still can.

Yep, you can. When I was living in the Detroit area, every bank would have canadian rolled coin but now that I'm in the northern part of the state they're hard to come by. I think canadian silver is a real sleeper and much easier to find than US.

In 1968, Canada changed the composition of the quarter from .500 silver, .500 copper to .999 nickel and both varieties exist with that date.
