My roll finds of the day

    Hey,

In $10 worth of pennies and $50 worth of dimes---ALL the dimes ended up being brand new. I opened 9 of the ten rolls, just in hope that there might be an error or something, but in the end, they went back to the bank. I saved one roll just so I can have a roll of uncirculated 2005-D dimes.

In the pennies, there were five wheaties--two 1941, a 1944, and two 1955-D's. Funny how in all these rolls from two different places I ended up getting two pairs. Canadian pennies included a 1945, 1963, 1987--(different from the others--it has edges around it instead of a round rim. I didn't know they ever made them like this. Anyone have any facts about this?) and a bright and shiny 2003.

So, no really big deals, but still, a nice way to spend a rainy afternoon in Oregon.

Merry Christmas, and happy holidays to all!

    Mike

    Very nice!
By 2064, experts say man will have established twelve colonies on the sun, ideal for family vacations.

Canadian cents from 1982-1996 are 12-sided. The 1945 George VI is a nice find!
    Last appearance in pocket change:

    Wheat penny - 1955 (11/1/12)
    Silver - 1928 dime (12/5/11)
    Dollar coin - 2010-D (Pierce) (4/16/12)
