Hard to tell with the scratch. I checked out some 1922-D cents on ebay and the mintmark looks to be centered below the date. Some of the cent experts on this forum should be able to help you on that one. Nice find.

I dont think you will ever have answer to your question due to that big scratch. If you were to send that to any grading company none of them would grade it due to that scratch being in that position. Also what stinks I dont think anybody would really count that as a no "D" or weak "D" because of that darn scratch. It stinks that it could be a great coin but most people are going to consider it an altered coin weather it was intentional or not. If that is a no "D" congrats on an awesome find.
