I saw this youtube vid about a person showing how to tell a silver coin from a clad one.
I tried it with some tarnished 90% Kens, and it made the paper "grayer" in the area I rubbed it in. It even worked for me using a BU American eagle! What's the science behind this? Try it out, it's very interesting. If the silver fitness of a coin is lower, I don't know what would happen.
