Hey just picked up a box that looks like it could be fun. I took a photo and want to play a game since some of you like to play games.

I see approx. 5 rolls showing silver the unofficial gauge is 10 silver for every 1 showing.....

So I should pull 50...... ?

How many do you think there will be?

Anyone care to theorise on how to gauge a box showing silver?

I wont make you wait long. I will post results tonight, allthough I will know how many in about 15 minutes from the time I post this.

It looks like a great box there.. maybe 45 40% & 8 90%? I bet that the roll in the middle with the toned tail of a coin with the middle square outlined is a 64. It sounds strange but I have the brother of that coin. I have one that is the same. I remember getting that one 7 years ago and wondered what the coin was stuck to. Strange that you have found its relative years later out in Michigan. I got mine 7 years ago in Davis, CA from a Brinks order.

Sorry I got the results in so late But here are the results.

It was not even close to a Dream Box But I never thought it would be. I did think it would be around 50. I was almost half right.

The other side of the rolls were not showing any silver so the 5 on top were the only 5 with silver on the ends. one of those had a second keeper in it.

3 rolls had 2 keepers and 1 roll had 3.

The Grand total (22) Keepers. 18 40%'s & 4 90%'s with one being a 62D Franklin.

And 2 well circulated proofs.

These were very well circulated. My guess is Casino coins culled from the purging of the coin operated slots.

I do appreciate everyones well wishes of Dream Box but I'm not completely disappointed. I'll take 22 keepers any time I can get it. But I certainly looked like it was gonna be better.

The good news is that the 2nd box which did not have any silver showing produced (32) keepers with 27 40%'s and 5 90%'s 1 being a 1936 Walking Liberty.

So 54 keepers on the day....I'll take it.

That 1 coin was a 67 and the blue tone you are seeing is actually a piece of scotch tape, that coin is on the top of the pile in the 2nd photo showing the face of the coin with a piece of tape stuck to it as well.

Oh Ok, thanks for letting me know. I was thinking that it was related. Long shot I guess... it would be weird if they were.

Over here on the other side of the state im getting the same stuff, open the box and i see 5 or 6 silvers showing and end up with 25-35 not complaining but that dream box is right there....were eating up all the 40% ers. But hey you got a Franklin Congrats i still havent found one of those this year!

Im thinking were on the brink of something here in Michigan, were gonna start pulling Rich Hartford #'s soon!

My numbers are no that hot. Never had a box with more than 32 keepers, and that was just once.
The past couple of months I had a high ratio of 90% and few skunk boxes.
Most of my boxes this week were skunks. I did get one box with four showing that had 31 Keepers to save the day.
