Yesterday's and the day before's...

No scans today. Don't feel like bothering with that much. Today I got nothing from the banks. Yesterday I got four boxes of pennies and went through them myself. The day before I got two boxes of pennies and $50 in nickels. $40 of that were ones with my initials on the rolls and I got nothing out of the nickels. That day, sniperdude was with me and we split up the rolls beforehand. One of the two boxes of pennies I got was filled with those old pink waxy rolls that were rolled back in the 70s that were loaded with wheats. I got 102 wheats out that day. (sniperdude got like...140 or so...) Anyway, my finds over those two days:

Canadians:
2001-1976 -- 14
1964 -- 2
1963
1961 -- 2
1953
1947 King George VI

Wheats:
1958D -- 10
1957
1957D -- 17 (I always get more of this one than any other...)
1956
1956D -- 15
1955
1955D -- 7
1954D -- 3
1953
1953D -- 9
1952 -- 2
1952D -- 9
1951 -- 2
1951D -- 5
1951S
1950
1950D -- 3
1948
1948S
1946 -- 5
1946D -- 2
1946S
1945 -- 7
1944 -- 8
1944D -- 3
1944S -- 2
1943 (My first steel penny! :D)
1942 -- 2
1942D
1941 -- 2
1941S
1940 -- 4
1940D
1939
1937 -- 2
1936
1935D
1928
1924
1919

Eight pre 1940 wheats, king george canadian, and a steel penny...awesome! :D

Wow, what a wheatie jackpot! I've gotta start getting bank rolls. The casinos are good for a handful per $10 but for the really great finds banks are the way to go.

WTG Snee, and ask sniperdude to post his date results.

Pickins have been pretty slim for me in the nickel department this month. My last wartime silver was on Feb. 4th, and today's $70 produced very little -

1940 (2)
1952
1953S (one keeper, at least)
1957
1958D
1959D

Congratulations Snee on all the wheaties and King George! Very nice results.

In the last few days I have found a total of 4 war nickels(2-1943P)(2-1944P), Bermuda nickel and one Buffalo nickel. I also have handfulls of pre-1960 nickels. I did notice that 12 rolls of nickels where short today, which I wasn't too happy with. I replaced most of the shortages, but I think I forgot a couple rolls.
