So I'm at McDonald's and while at the counter I see the glass donation case for Ronald McDonald House. Among the coins that people have thrown in is a funny looking, old foreign coin...that's impossible to get out!!! I shouldn't have even looked but self-torment is unavoidable sometimes. Oh well. It wasn't meant to be. I would've asked the manager but I don't think English is his primary language. 
And $100 in halves was a big zero for silver today. I think I'll try a different tactic and bring my casino-searched halves to the bank, thus forcing the casino to replenish their supply from an external source. Turns out halves are used regularly in our poker rooms. Dealers like them rather than quarters for antes so the hotel should have a ready supply.
And $25 in nickels was pretty blah -
