I went out to dump today. First bank I hit the machine was broken. Second bank I unloaded some. On the way to the next bank It was raining so hard you couldn't see. There were traffic jams and accidents everywhere. So I gave up on dumping and decided to pick up 4 boxes of dimes.
Of the four one was a skunk.
Here is the take
3x Mercs
8x Roosevelts
One of the Roosevelts, not particularly old,in fact only as old as myself was a 1953 S. This coin was in Au/Bu condition as if it was made this morning.
Any of you experts know if this is worth anything?

Good job on the dimes, man. 2010 Redbook only lists EF40 @ $1.50, MS-63 @ $2.50. Me no expert but seen my share of auctions, '53 S Rosie au/bu $3-$6. Epay. The market dictators.

 Sweet haul Rich. I wonder what is up will all the 40's and 50's AU/BU Rosies that are appearing this month?
My question is, have they really been sitting in a bank vault or warehouse for that long, or are people cashing in old stockpiles?

Coinvalues has the 1953-S

AU_58 @ $4.00
BU_60 @ $4.50

These are retail prices so the $3 plus range might be right.

Cheers!
