The coin has a diameter smaller than a half, but larger than a quarter. The edge looks like a 90% silver coin, but the date is 1983. I really don’t think it is silver, but it is certainly too heavy to be aluminum. Obverse (?) says: “REPUBLIQUE” and “FRANCAISE” and “I E O M” and has a female image similar to Miss Liberty. Reverse (?) says: “20” and “POLYNESIE” and “FRANCAISE” and has an image of what may be a breadfruit branch with fruit.

Does anyone know the national origin of this coin and what the metal composition may be?

Thanks for any help.
