Went to 2 small banks in the same little town . I bought $200 from the first bank and was planning on buying $200 from the other one . But as luck would have it they only had $40 in halves , so I bought $210 in quarters and dimes . I got home and had 2 full rolls of 40% out of the $40. The $200 yielded 120 40% plus 7 90 %.That gave me a total of 160 plus 7 90%. Believe I may go back tommorrow and clean the other bank out. I am thinking of selling the 40% coins . The local coin shop is offering 3x face <based on $14.28 spot . Is this a decent price ? What is everyone else being offered? We only have the one shop in town any other places you are selling scrap to? Thanks

Well, based off todays price, the actual metal value of a 40% half is $2.06. Cant tell you whether to take the 3X face or not but that at least tells you what he will be getting out of the deal.

Congratulations on the TERRIFIC silver hual! :D I'd sell the 40% halves for $1.50 each, that's a decent price in my opinion.

Yowza! April showers bring May silver. Stay in the hunt!

If silver goes above $16/oz. I may sell then but not before.
