Last Friday, I picked up $30 in half dollars, $10 in nickels and $10 in pennies.
Here's the haul (admittedly, not much compared to some of you dedicated half roll box hunters!):

Halfs - zip (and so far, zero for about $100 to $120 in halfs)

Nickels - 1940, 1948, 1953 + 1 Canadian nickel 1984

Wheaties - 1943 steel cent (not in the best of shape), 1955D, 1956D, and two special memorials, a 1959 and 1959D that are still shiny and new.

Copper pennies - (1959-1981) - 254

Canadian Pennies - 26, ranging from 1963 to 2002 including a new, shiny 1964.

Oh, and two more penny rolls with dimes in them (that's 4 now - all from the same individual's name on the rolls)
HH and keep on truckin',
Bob

Bravo on the wheats Bob. Keep plugging away with the halves. It's just a matter of time till you strike silver.

It's funny about your shiny 1964 Canadian. For about six weeks I've been finding them on a regular basis at the penny casino I frequent. Wouldn't it be amazing if one of them migrated out of Vegas and made it to you.

Yes, it would. Stranger things have happened! It sounds like someone dipped into a bag or roll of Canadian pennies to keep the slots humming.
I was very happy with my copper haul. 254 out of 1000 pennies, that's better than 25% and about $5.08 worth of copper.
I'm gonna keep on getting the copper while the getting's good....
