Weird. I just checked my 2005 Red Book for a value on your blank planchet and the values page is missing. An error in the error pages, how ironic! My most recent book before that is the 1999 and they list a value of $18. Does it have a reeded edge? Can you see the copper nickel edge?

Nice going on the silver! I just ordered another box due Wednesday.

On the blank: I see the copper but the reeding is worn away. I've noticed lots of other halves in the same condition.

I have found many with the reeding worn off myself. That is the result of spending a lot of time going thru the slot machines at various casino's.
